Office #5 | All Day

Neal, still smug from his triumph over that annoying teacher the other day, wasn't paying very much attention to where he was going as he came into his office today. Busily texting Peter, he didn't even look up until he found himself face-to-face with a solid wall of rubber chickens.

Yes. His office was completely full of rubber chickens.

Neal just stood there for a moment, stunned. Then he called Kenzi.

"How much do rubber chickens even cost?" Neal wondered, sipping his coffee. "There's gotta be, what, like a few hundred in there?"

"Three dollars each," Kenzi said, looking up from her iPod, 'cause the same question occurred to her. "Although, I'd guess there's a discount for bulk, but... wow. Somebody spent a thousand dollars at least. Or stole a few hundred chickens. Which, that'd be even more work." You had to admire the craftmanship of the prank! You had to!

"Probably had to go to a bunch of different stores, too," Neal observed thoughtfully. "Or have a ton of manpower, and wow, this was that annoying teacher whose class we invaded."

Kenzi cracked up. "Ahahahahah... Ulp. I mean. That's. So annoying! Wrong! And annoying." Heeee. "But yes. Mr. Madrox could totally have done this."

"Probably because I took his wallet," Neal said, nodding toward the wallet on the corner of his desk. "Makes me wonder how he got all this without a credit card."

"More than one card? Or he's got his numbers memorized. Or you know. The easy way." If you were multiple-clone person, then Kenzi guessed theft would be even easier. "... should I get a forklift?"

LET KENZI HAVE A FORKLIFT, MR. CAFFREY, Kenzi tried to beam into his brain by telepathy.

"Then this might take a while," Kenzi said, consideringly. "Definitely a job for the janitor. But. I might have a few ideas." She grinned. "Isn't it a good thing it's a Friday?"
